THE HARA

This one-of-a-kind long vest was entirely handwoven on the loom by Aikaterini Papadopoulou, a talented artisan that has not ceased to evolve the art of weaving ever since she attended the Weaving School of Kozani in Northern Greece, decades ago.

The design resembles a traditional costume called “ntoulamas” or “pirpiri,” a luxurious sleeveless long coat with drapes that was mostly worn by women in Ioannina, Western Greece.

Hand-making this exceptional piece took more than 170 hours on the loom.
